Joshua Poe
Hello, my name is Joshua Poe. I am a husband, a father, and a firm believer that everyone should have the courage to pursue their dreams.
I grew up in the small town of Pheba, Mississippi, where country living taught me some of life's greatest lessons. My family has a farm where we raise horses and cattle, and we grew much of the food we ate. Those early years of life my parents taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance. My parents instilled in me the importance of discipline, respect, and going after your dreams. Those same values that continue to guide my life today.
When I became a father, I knew I wanted to pass those same values on to my son, Maddox. I want him to understand that dreams are worth pursuing, no matter how big or how far away they may seem. I want him to see that success comes through hard work, discipline, focus, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when challenges arise.
Maddox is the inspiration behind this book. I didn't want to simply tell him to follow his dreams. I wanted to show him by pursuing my own. Through this book, I hope to inspire not only my son but also the next generation of kid to dream. I want every reader, young or old, to know that it's okay to dream, it's okay to believe in yourself, and it's okay to go after the life you envision.
As long as you are willing to work hard, stay disciplined, create a plan, and remain focused on your goals, your dreams can become reality.
